Co-op Community

Woman's Co-op

“Members in Action”

Woman's Co-opMembers network together and help each other using their God-given talents (sewing to auto mechanics) and personal resources (car, baby-sitting, etc).
An impressive aspect about the women we serve (which is suprising to many) is their incredible resourcefulness and coping mechanisms when it comes to basic survival.
They know how to keep their heads above water.

Through the network of women, the Woman’s  Co-op is able to provide members with:

Emergency Services – related to homelessness, eviction, hunger, personal items, and family violence

Community Networking – members gather to share and support the organization, its members, and their community

Civic Engagement – looking at the bigger issues in the community.  The power to impact systems and policies through advocacy and engagement that are impacting thier lives.

Member Needs Fund – a member supported and distributed fund for financial assistance
